Oakvera Trading Inc. is the contracting party for every quotation, order, invoice and payment. Production is carried out with our partner glass and ceramic workshops in Europe, and client viewings in Milan take place by appointment; those addresses are provided in writing on request.

These Terms & Conditions govern all quotations, commissions and deliveries of handcrafted works by Oakvera Atelier. By confirming a quotation you accept these terms.

Prices shown on this website are list prices for standard configurations. Where you place an order through the client area, the order total — items, shipping and tax — is recalculated on our server from the current catalogue price; the figures shown in your browser are indicative only.

Submitting an order through this website creates an order record with the status awaiting payment. It is not a completed sale and no payment is taken on this website. We confirm the order, the payment method and the production timeline by email; the contract is formed when we send that written confirmation.

Bespoke and larger projects begin with an enquiry instead. Each enquiry receives a reference number, and we reply with a written quotation. For those projects, production begins after your written approval of the quotation and, where drawings or samples apply, of those as well.

Every piece is shaped by hand and finished by fire. Slight variations in tone, dimension and glaze are not defects but the signature of the process — and part of what you are acquiring.

Lead times are confirmed in each quotation or order confirmation and begin at drawing approval where drawings apply. We deliver worldwide in museum-grade crating with full insurance; installations are coordinated by us and carried out with specialist partners.

Risk passes to you upon delivery to your address. Please inspect the crate upon arrival and document any transport damage within 48 hours.

Commissioned works are made for you alone and cannot be returned once production has begun. Pieces damaged in transit will be repaired or remade at our cost. This promise has no expiry date.

Designs, drawings and photographs remain the property of Oakvera Atelier unless a written agreement states otherwise. You acquire the object; the design remains with the atelier.

Every order and enquiry is stored with a unique reference number, its date, the items, the amounts and its status. Documents that actually apply to your order — a written quotation, our order confirmation, a payment confirmation once funds are received, and the invoice issued by Oakvera Trading Inc. — are attached to that record and sent to you by email. We do not issue documents for steps that have not taken place.

Prices published on this website are list prices for standard configurations. An invoice total may legitimately differ from them — for example a set or package discount, a change of size, glaze or fitting, or agreed project pricing. In every such case the reason is stated in the written quotation that precedes the invoice.

Our liability is limited to the value of the commission in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, the jurisdiction of incorporation of Oakvera Trading Inc., without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
