Privacy Policy

We handle your data the way we handle glass: carefully, and only as much as necessary.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Oakvera Atelier ("Oakvera", "we"). You can reach us at any time at contact@oak-vera.com.

2. Data we collect

Enquiry forms: when you submit an enquiry, we process the details you provide — name, email address, company, country, project type, budget range and project description — solely to respond to your request and prepare a quotation.

Client area: if you create an account, we store your name, email address, account type and password (hashed) to manage your access. Accounts are activated after review by our team.

Newsletter: if you subscribe to the Atelier Letter, we store your email address to send occasional updates. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.

Usage data: when you visit the site, technically necessary data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) is processed to deliver and secure the website.

3. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, e.g. newsletter) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website).

4. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to handle your request and for a maximum of 24 months thereafter, unless a commission results — in which case statutory retention periods apply. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

5. Recipients

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with service providers strictly necessary to operate this website and deliver your commission (e.g. hosting, email delivery, logistics partners), each bound by data-processing agreements.

6. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies and browser storage — see our Cookie Policy for details. Should we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will request your consent beforehand.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@oak-vera.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our processing or legal requirements. The version published on this page is the current one. Last updated: August 2026.
