Atelier Policies
How we ship, how we repair, and how we work — in writing.
Shipping & Delivery
Every piece travels in a museum-grade wooden crate built for its exact dimensions, with full door-to-door insurance. Delivery within Europe is handled by specialist art logistics carriers; worldwide shipments travel by air or sea freight with tracked, insured service.
Installations are rigged by our own team across Europe, and with trusted partners worldwide. Lead times are confirmed in each written quotation and begin at drawing approval.
Made-to-Order Returns
Every Oakvera piece is made to order for a specific client and space. For this reason, commissioned works cannot be returned once production has begun. Before production starts you approve drawings, models and physical samples — nothing enters the kiln or the furnace without your signature.
If a piece arrives damaged, document it within 48 hours of delivery and we will repair or remake it at our cost — that promise has no expiry date.
Lifetime Repair & Care
Oakvera pieces are designed to be repaired, not replaced. Chandelier spheres, porcelain elements and hardware can be remade from our archives for the life of the piece. Care instructions accompany every delivery.
Sustainability
We produce exclusively to order — no stock, no seasonal destruction. Glass offcuts return to the furnace, glaze tests return to the kiln books, and materials are sourced within Europe wherever possible.
All works are designed and produced in accordance with EU safety and environmental standards.
Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, photographs and texts on this website are the property of Oakvera Atelier and may not be reproduced without written permission. Commissioned designs remain the intellectual property of the atelier unless a written agreement states otherwise.
